This policy applies to these websites and to the online ordering, guest account, contact form, event inquiry, and email and text message sign-up features offered through them (together, the "Sites"). It does not apply to information we collect in person at our restaurants.

Some services linked from the Sites are run by other companies on their own websites. These include table reservations, gift card purchases, our loyalty program, dining rewards and payment apps, and job applications. Those companies collect your information under their own privacy policies and share some of it with us, as described below.

By using the Sites, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

  1. Contact details: first and last name, email address, and phone number, plus a delivery address if you order delivery.
  2. Account and VIP details: your email address when you become a VIP, plus your birthday and phone number if you choose to add them, your sign-in details, and your favorite menu items.
  3. Order details: items ordered, the location you order from, pickup or delivery time and instructions, and any dietary or allergy notes you choose to share.
  4. Payment details: card type, the last four digits of your card, and billing ZIP code. Full card numbers are handled by our payment processors and are not stored by us.
  5. Event and catering inquiries: event type, preferred date and time, party size, length of the event, and any comments you add.
  6. Marketing preferences: whether you signed up for emails or text messages, and your birthday if you provide it.
  7. Age confirmation: on the Great Basin Brewing Co. Site, your answer when we ask whether you are 21 or older. We record only your yes-or-no answer, not your date of birth.
  8. Reviews: ratings, written reviews, likes of menu items, and any photos you post on the Sites.
  9. Messages and feedback: contact form messages, the location you are asking about, and survey responses.

Companies that run services for us on their own websites share information with us:

  1. Reservation platform: your name, contact details, party size, date and time, and special requests.
  2. Gift card provider: your name and email address, purchase and balance details, and the recipient's name, email address, and any gift message.

  7. Social media platforms: your public profile details when you interact with our pages.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Sites use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. A cookie is a small file stored on your device that lets a website recognize your browser.

We and our service providers use these technologies to:

  1. Run the Sites: keep you signed in, remember your cart, and remember your cookie choice. On the Great Basin Brewing Co. Site, a cookie also remembers that you confirmed you are 21 or older, so you are not asked on every page.
  2. Remember preferences: such as your preferred location.
  3. Measure performance: understand how visitors use the Sites so we can improve them.
  4. Support marketing: measure how our emails and advertisements perform and show you our ads on other websites and apps.

Some of these technologies are set by other companies, such as analytics and advertising providers. Those companies may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites and online services.

Your cookie choices. When you first visit one of our restaurant Sites, a pop-up asks for your cookie preference. You can choose to decline all, accept all, select only necessary (required for site to function), functional, analytics, and/or marketing. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block cookies, some features, such as online ordering, may not work properly.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  1. Take and fulfill orders, reservations, waitlist requests, and gift card purchases.
  2. Process payments and prevent fraud.
  3. Respond to questions, catering and event inquiries, and feedback.
  4. Run our loyalty program and manage your account.
  5. Send order confirmations, receipts, and other service messages.
  6. Send VIP updates, such as news, offers, birthday rewards, and event announcements, by email or text message, if you have signed up to receive them.
  7. Personalize the Sites, such as showing your nearest location or past favorites.
  8. Understand how the Sites are used and improve our menus, service, and Sites.
  9. Review job applications.
  10. Protect the security of the Sites, our guests, and our team.
  11. Comply with the law and enforce our terms.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give it to other companies for their own marketing. We share information only in these situations:

  1. Among our restaurants. Information you give one Local Food Group concept may be used by our other concepts for the purposes described in this policy.
  2. Service providers. Companies that work on our behalf receive the information they need to do that work. These include our website and online ordering platforms, payment processors, reservation and waitlist systems, delivery partners, email and text message providers, loyalty, rewards, and gift card providers, analytics and advertising providers, and hiring platforms.
  3. Delivery and fulfillment. If you order delivery, we share your name, address, phone number, and order with the delivery provider.
  4. Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information to comply with a law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our guests, our team, or others.
  5. Business changes. If we sell, merge, or reorganize all or part of our business, information may be transferred to the new owner as part of that transaction. The new owner may use it as described in this policy.
  6. With your consent. We may share information in other ways if you ask or agree.

Text messaging. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text message opt-in consent with other companies for their marketing purposes.

Reviews, ratings, and photos you post on the Sites are public and may be shown with your name. Please do not include information in them that you want kept private.

Your Choices

  1. Email. Click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email to stop receiving them. We will still send messages about your orders, reservations, and account.
  2. Text messages. Reply STOP to any marketing text to opt out, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
  3. Cookies. Use the cookie pop-up or your browser settings as described above.
  4. Reviewing and updating your information. If you have an account, sign in to review and update your profile. You may also contact us using the details at the end of this policy to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may keep information we are required by law to retain.
  5. Location. You can turn off location sharing in your browser or device settings.

State Privacy Rights

Nevada residents. Nevada law gives residents the right to ask a website operator not to sell certain personal information. We do not sell this information. You may still submit an opt-out request, and we will honor it if our practices ever change. Please include your name and the email address or phone number you have used with us so we can verify the request.

California residents. We do not share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing. California residents may contact us with questions about this practice using the details at the end of this policy.

Residents of other states. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain uses of it. Contact us to make a request, and we will respond as the law that applies to you requires. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond, so the Sites do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. You can control cookies through the pop-up and your browser settings as described above.

Children's Privacy and Age Restrictions

The Sites are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. The Great Basin Brewing Co. Site promotes alcoholic beverages and is intended only for adults of legal drinking age. That Site asks you to confirm that you are 21 or older before you enter. If you are under 21, please do not use it.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect, and we require our service providers to do the same. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires, and then delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Links to Other Sites and Services

The Sites may link to or include features from other companies, such as reservation, gift card, loyalty, dining rewards, job application, and delivery platforms, maps, and social media. Those companies have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover their practices. We encourage you to read their policies before giving them information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on the Sites and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also post a notice on the Sites or email guests who have given us an email address. Your continued use of the Sites after an update means you accept the revised policy.
